Fort

Today I worked on my fort. It is up on the right at the top of the hill behind our house. It goes all the way down the hill on the right. From the bottom of the hill you cant see it. It is in a bunch of thorn bushes. There is a spot where you can see down the whole hill. You can get to the fort from lots of different spots. At first, it was all made by clippers. But later on, Dad mowed some of it. After Dad mowed some of it, it was easier to get into.

cider mill

Today we went to Clyde’s cider mill. They crush apples to make cider the “old fashion way” using a press powered by an old engine. They turn the apples into mush and then crush them. It was really neat.

India Grill & Mild Curry

On Friday, Dad and I went to India Grill & Mild Curry. But not to eat. We went to offer to make them a website.  The website is mildcurry.com. The website is a blog, though it may not look like it, because of the theme. Right now there is the homepage (which is just a picture of the store,) and a menu (which is just in pictures right now, because I’m still typing it up.)

Overnight boat trip

On Saturday we went on an overnight boat trip. We went to Fishers island. We left at around 12pm and got there around 4pm. We forgot melatonin so I went to bed around 11pm. There was fireworks, so I watched them for a while. The next morning was so foggy, we couldn’t see 50 feet in front of us. We waited for a bit and left. We’re more then half way there when the fog cleared up. By the time we got to our moaring it was so hot we went in the water.

Missouri

Day1: The second day of our long car trip. We went to see our cousins baseball games. We weren’t able to watch Mathew’s game because it was too late.

Day2: We went to Ozark Outdoors. Went on innertube float trip. Lost to dad and papa in water gun fight on our second inner tube trip. On the first, me and Mathew didn’t participate in the fight. We just went really far ahead of everyone. The second round it was just Mathew and I vs Dad and Papa. Everyone had gone back to the cabin.(Yes, we stayed in cabin.)

Day3: Went on canoe and kayak float trip. Took about 5-6 hours. The trip was about 10 miles long. We started in Courtois creek. Then we combined with the Huzzah river. Then we combined with the Meramec river. We stayed on the Meramec river for the rest of the way.

Day4: Left Ozark. Went on a trip in Cathedral cave. It was super cool. They had huge salactights and salagmight.

Day5: Went to 4th of July fair with fireworks. Also went to city museum. Spent lots of time outside at the city museum.

Day6: Went to lantern festival. Went to deer creek “rocketship” park.

Overall it was a ton of fun. Except when I got squirted in the face while realoding.
