Project Oceanolgy day 2

Today we went on the enviro lab 3. It is a fishing boat. We caught fish. I held a spiny fish, a scaly fish, and a squid. At the end of the week I will try to post these pictures. We saw jellyfish and caught one in the net. We caught some flounder. We caught a bunch of crabs. One of the staff dissected a dead squid. All of the squids died. We caught plankton. There are two kinds of plankton zooplankton (animal) and phytoplankton (plant). We mostly caught zooplankton. We looked at them under a microscope. We fed some to the fish in are tank we gave the others to a different group.
